Design Technology Day!

On Thursday we learnt about where pizzas come from, how the traditional Margherita pizza is the colours of the Italian flag (red - tomato, white - buffalo mozzarella, green - basil) and was made for a special celebration for Queen Marghertia. We also looked at how pizza came to the rest of the world before designing, making and evaluating our own!

The children had some great ideas of pizzas names, included their favourite toppings and then completed a star profile rating their pizzas and suggesting what they would change next time.

We had a fantastic day! Apologises if not much tea was eaten Thursday evening 😆🍕🐝
