Headteacher Friday Update 23rd November 2018

Date: 23rd Nov 2018 @ 9:59am

Another busy week, with lots of great work going on through school.  Thank you to everyone for helping to raise such great totals for Children in Need.  We have started work on our angel for the festival next week.  We hope that you will join us in the procession on Friday evening next week for the switch on of the Cartmel Christmas Lights.  The festival of angels in the Priory proves to be a wonderful showcase of local artistic talent and will no doubt be a worth-while experience to visit.  The children are busy learning lines and songs for our Nativity 'Straw and Order' at 6pm on Tuesday 11th December, again in The Priory.  I thank you in advance for helping your child in their line learning and costume gathering.  Should you have any issues with costumes, please let us know as soon as possible, in order for us to help.

It was super to see so many parents at our recent parents' evenings.  I hope you feel it gave you a good opportunity to speak with teachers and teaching assistants who support your children in school.

On a final note, please remember to log out of School Spider and log back in again.  You may appear to still be receiving messages but I have been advised that you do need to do this process to ensure you are logged in to the latest version.  It should only take a minute and if you have any problems, please contact us.  I am hoping to send out my parent survey next week but need to ensure that everyone is logged in correctly before hitting the 'send' button!

Many thanks for your continued support,

Mrs Battersby
