Headteacher update 29th January 2021

Date: 29th Jan 2021 @ 2:47pm

Dear Parent/Carer,

Another week has passed and it has been super to speak to many of you in person over the week.  I will be continuing making calls next week to touch base and see how everyone is doing.  I know these are very difficult times but it is so reassuring to hear your stories and anecdotes of home learning.  I appreciate that it is far from easy and families seem to be working well to balance activities on Seesaw, Zoom sessions, attending worship, participating in Joe Wicks and Sing Up and making their own really valuable learning opportunities with their children.

We continue to have staffing pressures in school and are so grateful for your kind words of encouragement and support.  We all face these unprecedented times together, all with differing pressures and issues and we must all continue to simply do our best and take care of each other.  With the news of an extended lockdown, it seems now more than ever, we must speak to our neighbour and check in with each other.

Thank you for all you continue to do to support us as a school.  We look forward to better times when we can all be together again.

With very best wishes,

Mrs Battersby
