Gemma Brown - Clerk to the Full Governing Body

My name is Gemma Brown and I am the Clerk for the Full Governing Body. I complete the minutes for all FGB meetings, as well as those for the resources and teaching and learning committees. I also provide agendas for these meetings and manage other documents such as terms of reference and the code of conduct. I also manage the governor section of the school website and support the FGB with any other governance issues.

I am a teacher at Cartmel Priory School as well as SENCo and Attainment Leader for year 7. In the latter role I manage the transition from year 6 to Cartmel Priory School and work closely with all of the primaries in the area. I have two children. My son who is about to leave secondary school attended Cartmel Primary School and had a successful and enjoyable time there and I am sure that when my daughter joins in a few years she will have a similar experience. I mainly enjoy spending time with my children, going for days out and doing lots of activities together.
