Reverend Devenish - Governor Profile

I have been privileged to be a school governor since my appointment as Vicar for Cartmel Priory in February 2012.  One of my first duties was to part of the opening ceremony for our magnificent hall and kitchen.  I work closely with Mrs Battersby as we together forge links between school, community and priory church.  I take regular acts of collective worship and support the Ethos group.  I have a particular responsibility working with Mrs Battersby and Mrs Iveson as we consider spirituality within our school. I support Mrs Milner our chair of governors and I am available to offer pastoral support to all who are connected with our school.
