World Book Day.

This was a very special day with excitement all round, as the children immersed themselves in reading books of all genres, sharing and enjoying their content. Picture books, facts and explanations,  illustrations that stimulated curiosity, new authors to explore to name but a few were all in evidence from across the classes. The books on offer through the World Book Day vouchers certainly wowed the children's appetite for reading. 

Their favourite books were in evidence as well, as they talked and shared them with each other. It was a pleasure as a governor to spend some time listening to some of the children as they shared their response to individual books.  Well done everybody.
