Cartmel Priory lunch response

Earlier today the whole school, including some of the Cartmel community, were invited to a special surprise at Cartmel Priory which was a tremendous success. Sitting on the benches, after a short walk, the children were 'starving' and really ready for their delectable lunch of cottage pie, garden peas, followed by scrumptious sticky toffee pudding and ice- cream.Although we were served last, it was worth the wait because the meal was appetising, very filling as well as being a nice social experience.
