Castle Head Field Studies Centre

During the last week of spring term, each class was lucky to have a whole day out at Castle Head Field Studies Centre in Lindale. We try and visit every year as it's always a fantastic day where we learn lots and test our perseverance and teamwork skills!

This year we were blessed with the weather and all three classes were able to take part in some outdoor adventurous activities and some science. Low ropes, high ropes, Hampsfell limestone pavement, orienteering and map reading skills and conducting experiments. 

We even had a special visit from local MP Tim Farron, on the Friday of our trip.
