Class 1 Blog Doctors Surgery visit

Date: 28th Sep 2018 @ 4:53pm

The children were really keen to tell me all about their trip yesterday! We sat with our talking partners in a circle and they helped me to compose this blog. I think they've included most of the details Miss Taylor-Crozier shared, but there was a greater emphasis on the Juice and Biscuits! Following writing this shared blog children wrote their own thoughts from the trip. Many children were very proud of their work and asked for it to be displayed on 'Our Fantastic Work' display.

Yesterday we went to the doctors. We put our yellow jackets on before we went to the doctors so cars could see us. We took our teddies to the doctor’s surgery.

We split into 2 groups. There was a man doctor and a lady nurse. One group put a plaster on the teddy the other group had to guess what the equipment in the doctor’s bag was used for. We also put on some special cream and listened to our heartbeats. We also had a go at sitting on the doctor’s bed. It went up and down.

In the waiting room we could ask questions.

At the end we had juice and biscuits. Then we said thank you and we went back to school.
