Class 1 medals

In English we have been looking at the author Judith Kerr and the adventures of Mog!

One of the stories we looked at was 'Mog the forgetful cat'. At the end of the story Mog received a medal for her bravery - she scared away a burglar! We thought about why and who we would give a medal to. We used paper plates, threaded ribbon and wrote who our medal was for and why on our awards. There were some very considerate and lovely reasons why people were receiving an award, including children in school, mums and dads and staff in school.
