Community links lunch

As Chair of Governors I was very privileged on Tuesday to attend the lunch at Cartmel Priory with the whole school staff and children. It was lovely to see the interactions between the children and adults and am sure memories were made and shared. The food was super, especially the treat of sticky toffee pudding and ice cream !! The behaviour was  exemplary and smiley faces on the walk back to school proved a good time was had by all. Being the third lunch now I have attended, I can vouch for this event as one which is so valuable for mixing generations, thinking of others and making use of that very special place - the Priory. Thank you to everyone involved.
