Daffodils Workshop - William Wordsworth

This morning we had two ladies from Dove Cottage come and do some activities with us. We learnt about who William Wordsworth was and listened to the first verse of his world famous 'Daffodils. We sang some songs and played games too! In addition, we went into two groups and made a beautiful craft daffodil and had the chance to play with some woodland animals, birds that tweeted, musical instruments and other resources. We finished with a story by Eric Carle, 'The Tiny Seed'. 

Such a lovely morning, the children were engaged throughout and represented Cartmel CE primary fantastically! Well done Busy Bees 🐝⭐️👍
