Diwali ?

This week the children learnt all about Diwali, the festival of light.

The children listened to the wonderful story of Rama and Sita and learnt about what happens on Diwali and how it's celebrated. We then created our own diva lamps, modelling and moulding clay and choosing our own designs. The children enjoyed colouring in their rangoli patterns and henna designs as we listed to Hindu music and lit our lamps.
