Headteacher Friday Update 5th May 2023

This week has been full of Coronation Celebrations. It was so lovely to see many parents and extended family members at our Afternoon Tea on Tuesday. We were very lucky to be able to get outside and enjoy watching the children eating their cakes and then playing out. We hope you enjoyed the Celebration Assembly and in particular the song!
Gardening Club was really well attended this week. I arrived in school this morning to find two beautiful herb planters on the window sill outside my office with my name on! Thank you to all the children and especially to Mrs Bowden, Mrs Wade and their volunteer helpers for making this happen. The school grounds are going to be much improved in no time, alongside the children making some super things to bring home.
Next week is Year 6 SATs week and we all wish our Year 6 children the best of luck. They'll all be doing their very best and that's everything we can ask for.
I do hope you all enjoy the Coronation this weekend and of course, the longer weekend again. See you on Tuesday!
