Headteacher Friday Update 6th March 2020

A very busy week here at Cartmel.  Class 2 enjoyed their first experience towards their Arts Award Discover on Tuesday.  They visited a workshop at Witherslack to learn about wood turning and moss hut building and had a go themselves.  Classes 1 and 2 are on their way back from Barrow Forum Theatre as I write having seen 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea.'  Class 3 has meanwhile been cake baking with Miss Lace!  We've had many KS2 children doing Cyclewise this week, developing learning in road and bike safety, a very important topic for our narrow Cartmel roads!
