Class 1 Homework Challenges 01.02.19

Date: 2nd Feb 2019 @ 12:08pm

What a quiet week we have had!

The main thing I would love all the busy bees to do over the weekend is to rest up and get back to 100%! We have had a very quiet week with illness however it’s given us more time to work 1:1 and in small groups with the children to address their personalised targets.

Next week is Chinese New Year! We will be focusing the weeks learning linked to this and will be reading ‘The Runaway Wok’ which has elements of a traditional tale, just like what we have been looking at this half term. You may want to make some traditional Chinese food, Chinese New Year craft, research about it and find out which animal you are, write some fortunes... Opportunities are endless!

I also sent reception home with a letter I received from Mrs Battersby. If you would like to enter the reception only riddle competition please complete it by the end of the week so we can get them all sent off! It would be fantastic for the children to have a go, we have done senses poems in school so it shouldn’t be unfamiliar to them and the school and children could win some fantastic prizes.

Have a fantastic weekend and hope to see all your smiley and recovered happy faces on Monday morning! 😊🐝
