Friday Headteacher update - 25th November 2022

Date: 25th Nov 2022 @ 5:16pm

The children all enjoyed our visit to the pantomime in Lancaster where we got to watch ‘Robin Hood’. A big well done to Henry and Annabel who, unexpectedly, became part of the panto cast for most of the show!

Today a group of our children sang at ‘Christmas in Cartmel’. They all looked wonderful in their light up Christmas tree costumes – clearly a lot of hard work from our fantastic parents once again. After singing by the Priory and watching the horses and Santa process past them, the children were able to go into the Priory ahead of the crowds to meet Santa. Thank you again to all of you who came along and got involved and helped to create such a magical atmosphere.

This Sunday is our own Christmas Fair which will be in the village hall between 10am and 2pm. The Santa Dash will also be on at the same time. Lots of fun games and stalls have been organised (from as little as 50p). The Friends have been working hard behind the scenes putting everything together and it’s sure to be another enjoyable event for your families; we look forward to seeing you there.

Just one last reminder that parents’ evenings are running next Tuesday and Thursday and will be in the school hall. There will also be a Scholastic Book Fair for you to browse.

Have a lovely weekend!
